Search for UAE Explorer 2012 is on

Explorer has announced the names of the Top 100 round one winners that will compete for the chance to become the Ultimate UAE Explorer 2012. Each of the 100 winners selected won a UAE based experience to review, the best 20 reporters will be rewarded with a place in the quarter finals of the search. They will also receive a FujiFilm F500EXR digital camera to record a video to tell the world why they should be the next Ultimate UAE Explorer. These videos will then be open to public voting to determine who will make it through to the final round of the search.

However, those who missed out during stage one needn’t give up yet – Explorer are also giving away 10 highly coveted Golden Tickets straight into the quarter finals of the competition. Each Golden Ticket winner will also receive a FujiFilm F500EXR digital camera to record their video entry.  The Golden Tickets can be won across a range of channels including via campaign partners Barasti, Dubai 92 and 7DAYS or by registering at uaeforfree.com, where full details of the campaign can be found.

About the 2012 search
Explorer is searching for the Ultimate UAE Explorer - one person who will live the dream life with amazing UAE experiences bestowed upon them every weekend, from microlight flying to stays in stylish hotels, hot air ballooning to tickets for the hottest events in town. PLUS this one lucky winner will live in a luxury two bedroom apartment in the Ascott Park Place on Sheikh Zayed Road, drive a brand new FJ Cruiser, have a AED 50,000 shopping allowance at Adventure HQ and fly Premium Economy with Virgin Atlantic to London and New York - all for free for one whole year!

During the campaign:
•    100 people will win an experience and submit a review
•    20 reviewers plus 10 golden ticket winners will each win a camcorder and a place in the quarter finals

•    Five finalists will be selected via public voting and take part in the Ultimate UAE Explorer Challenge
