Planet Travels not affected by economic downturn

April 4- , LLC has not been impacted by the worldwide economic downturn, according Planet Group’s chief operating officer, Ibrahim Nalkhande. He said “The performance of the group’s travel wing, Planet Travel & Tours LLC, is not that largely affected due to the spectrum of services and products offered to the travelers.” Nalkhande explained Planet Travel & Tours LLC has a balanced equation with different components including business travel, retail and holidays, general sales agency, representations, advisory services, and inbound travel.

The travel wing of Planet Group has been in operation since 1989, and has established itself as a one-stop shop for all travel needs in Dubai. Nalkhande said the one stop solution for travel, tours, and cargo has increased from one sales shop to five outlets. He said the economic downturn in Dubai in 2009 gave the company a chance to evaluate itself.  A Planet Travel & Tours office will open in Abu Dhabi soon.
