Dubai tourism dept all set to participate in GIBTM

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), along with 52 co-participants, will be participating in the Gulf Incentives, Business Travel and Meetings (GIBTM-2010) exhibition to promote UAE as an ideal year-round Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) destination.
The three-day fair is being held from March 29 to 31 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). In this regard, Talal Al Suwaidi, Head of Region, India, Middle East and North Africa, Overseas Promotions and Inward Missions Department, talked to the co-participants in meeting and pointed out that over the years, the number of co-participants to GIBTM has increased and the stand size this year is also larger. “GIBTM is an important exhibition to tap the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) business, especially at a time when the tourism industry in different parts of the world is facing challenging times. We are working towards exploiting the potential that tourism offers, especially the business tourism domain."
