A Los Angeles Tour Bus Ticket Opens the Door on Savings at Major Museums and Attractions

These days, multi-tasking technology is commonplace for travelers. A watch doesn’t just simply keep track of time, and a cell phone doesn’t only make calls. Now a bus ticket in Los Angeles is multi-tasking by delivering riders to the top museums and attractions, then affording them a discount.  Starline Tours, operators of the CitySightseeing Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker buses, has introduced the “Show and Save” discount program with major attractions in and around the Los Angeles area.  Simply showing a valid CitySightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus ticket opens the doors to discounts at 30 notable venues.

This ‘golden ticket’ is essential to visitors to the Los Angeles area who want to experience all there is to see and do, without the hassle of car rental, driving and parking. The convenient routes stop at more than 50 locations from downtown Los Angeles to the beaches of Santa Monica, with stops in Hollywood and Beverly Hills along the way.

The new Starline Tours “Show & Save” program gives ticketholders significant discounts when they show their ticket – over $120 in combined savings.  Some examples include:  $9 off an adult ticket at Universal Studios Hollywood, two-for-one admission at the Peterson Automotive Museum, Hammer Museum and Japanese American National Museum, and 50% off bike rentals at Santa Monica Pier’s Blazing Saddles.  The program also includes savings and extras at icons like the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art (LACMA), Laugh Factory, the Da Vinci Exhibit, the Grammy Museum, and even $15 savings on Starline’s own original Movie Stars’ Homes Tour.

Passengers enjoy an open-air view from vintage English Double-Decker buses with an informative, narrated tour.   A new free smart-phone City Sightseeing app features the location of all the Hop-on Hop-off bus stops and major attractions, making sightseeing – and saving – a cinch in the Los Angeles area.  During peak season in summer, Starline Tours will runs buses on the main Hollywood Route every 20 minutes, so that passengers get the most out of their ticket.

Adult pricing is $35 for a 24-hour, All-Route ticket; $50 for a 48-hour All-Route ticket. Child and family tickets are also available. Passengers can easily save the price of the ticket with the new “Show and Save” program.  Advance purchase is not necessary – riders may purchase 24 or 48-hour tickets directly from the driver at any stop, at Starline Tours ticket kiosks including the forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, or online at www.starlinetours.com  For a complete list of participating attractions offering discounts, bus routes and timetables, visit the Hop-on Hop-off section on the home page or call toll free from the U.S., 800-959-3131 or from abroad, 001-323-463-3333.
