Employees working the public sector will get a 9 day Eid ul-Fitr break this year, announced Sayyid Ali Bin Hamoud Bin Ali Al Busaidi, the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, Chairman of the Civil Service Council.
There will be granted paid vacation from September 11 till September 15. Work will resume as normal on September 18th, after the weekend.
Private sector employees will be off from September 11 - 14, with work resuming September 15.
