Dubai Airport Free Zone Will Double Capacity

Dubai Airport Free Zone will add six new buildings and a hotel at a cost of Dh1.3 billion to nearly double its current capacity.  Currently there are about 1,500 companies in the zone and the space need varies greatly between companies.

Director General of the Dubai Airport Free Zone said more than 1,000 companies can be accommodated in the new buildings, which will occupy 100,000 square meters, or 300,000 square built up meters.  Construction is scheduled to begin in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
