bmi To Operate Airbus A330 From Amman To Heathrow Airport

As a replacement for its narrow-body service, inaugurated in 2007, UK-based airline bmi has confirmed plans to introduce daily Airbus 330 wide-bodied flights from Queen Alia International Airport, Jordan to London Heathrow Airport, effective early spring 2009.
In a press statement, Nigel Turner, chief executive officer of bmi said: "Amman has gotten off to an excellent start and is performing well ahead of expectations in passenger numbers and revenue. However, there exists even further potential for the development and growth of the route.”
