Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines said the company's revenues are reduced by 3 to 5% because of unrest in the Middle East and North Africa.
Clark added that Emirates had succeeded in turning planes away from the turmoil sweeping the region and expects to recover in the Japanese market also.
Clark said in an interview with Reuters, "We realize that this is not a transient event and that it will continue so we suspended flights to Libya and Tunisia and we reduced the number of flights to Cairo."
