Emirates Call Centers Will Be Linked Up By British Telecom

British Telecom (BT) has signed a contract to provide the technology link to Emirates Airlines worldwide call centers.  Under the five year contract BT will connect Emirates call centers to a single globally managed platform.  The call centers are in Mumbai, Melbourne, Manchester, Dubai, and New York and also nine town office locations.

BT said operating costs will decrease and efficiency will improve with the provision of new services to its passengers and agents.  Emirates Divisional Regional Vice President explained “Real time access to customer data is a critical requirement”.  Richard Vaughn said BT quickly recognized Emirates is driven by efficiency with a customer-centric approach.
