Emirates Airline Adds Another Daily Flight To Kuala Lumpur

Emirates Airlines added an extra flight between its home base in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur to meet demand to and from Malaysia, and because of Emirates’ deep commitment to serving the Malaysian market.  The extra flight brings to 21 the number of weekly non-stop flights to Kuala Lumpur.

Richard Jewsbury, an executive with Emirates, said “Emirates has always been committed to Malaysia. This increase in flight frequency follows strong and increasing demand for flights not just from business travelers, but leisure travelers as well.”   Mr. Jewsbury is Emirates Airlines’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations, Far East and Australasia.  He said the thrice daily flights to Kuala Lumpur will benefit customers, stakeholders and boost Malaysian tourism.  The new flight to Kuala Lumpur, flight EK408, will take off from Dubai every day at 02:40 hours, and arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 13:30 hours. Return flight EK409 will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 09:45 hours the next day, and arrive in Dubai at 12:45 hours.
